Northamptonshire Community Foundation
Stanwick Bowls Club would like to thank the Northamptonshire Federation of Disability Sport Fund for their generous funding, allowing our club to purchase two bowling arms. These highly technical devices will allow members and guests who are, or become less flexible, to continue to enjoy bowling without the need to adopt the typical crouched bowling stance.
Bowls is truly a sport for all.

The Kings Trust
We are extremely grateful to volunteers from the Kings Trust who, under the guidance of group leader Ryan, have paid a second visit to our club and undertaken vital maintenance work. This is greatly appreciated by all members.
North Northants Member Empowerment Fund
SBC members are extremely grateful to councillor Helen Howell and the North Northants Member Empowerment Fund for their generous support in providing a grant to enable us to purchase an additional heater for our clubhouse. Whilst the clubhouse heating is adequate for members and visiting teams actively playing bowls, it was felt that additional heating would encourage older members of the club and the local community to come, sit and watch indoor bowl competitions and also participate in social events that we hold in the clubhouse during winter months.
North Northants Community Foundation
We would like to thank the North Northants Community Foundation for their recent generous grant which has enabled our Club to purchase two heavy-duty stainless steel hose reels.

The bowling green is the focal point of our Club and the new hose reels will make the irrigation of the playing surface in the summer months, and storage of hoses in the winter, so much easier. This in turn will benefit our local community members and visiting local teams.

We are extremely appreciative of the financial support.
Sport England Movement Fund
Our Club considers itself extremely fortunate in being the recipient of a most generous grant from Sport England.
​
The Movement Fund award is being directed towards the replacement and removal from site of the original perimeter ditch infill material, with a new specialist lining product. The new liner will be in place ready for a recommencement of outdoor bowling in April 2025.

We could never have foreseen being in a position to undertake this major improvement without the generosity of Sport England
